Audit Defense

Our extensive experience is available in support of all state unclaimed property disputes. If your company is the target of an unclaimed property audit by an aggressive hired-gun third party auditing firm like Kelmar Associates or ACS for Delaware or some other state, we can keep the process under control and immediately begin to mitigate exposure and limit the scope of the audit.

Voluntary Disclosure

We identify jurisdictions in which a client is not in compliance, analyze and quantify corresponding exposure, and manage the voluntary disclosure process to minimize payments, interest, and penalties associated with coming into compliance. To achieve these savings for our clients, we leverage our long-term relationships with state authorities which may allow us to limit look-back periods and secure offsets or waivers of penalties.

Unclaimed Property Compliance

We will prepare unclaimed property reports, or even outsource the entire reporting function.
