Audit Defense

Our extensive experience is available in support of all state unclaimed property disputes. We provide advocacy and representation, expert third-party analysis, advice or testimony to help our clients resolve controversies quickly and favorably.

Voluntary Disclosure

We identify jurisdictions in which a client is not in compliance, analyze and quantify corresponding exposure, and manage the voluntary disclosure process to minimize payments, interest, and penalties associated with coming into compliance. To achieve these savings for our clients, we leverage our long-term relationships with state authorities which may allow us to limit look-back periods and secure offsets or waivers of penalties.

Unclaimed Property Compliance

We will prepare unclaimed property reports, or even outsource the entire reporting function.

Policies and Procedures Reviews

We will identify company policies and procedures that may result in unclaimed property, design and implement new policies and procedures to reduce or eliminate unclaimed property and develop reporting procedures to comply with state laws and regulations.
